Visibility Integrity

Visibility Integrity is the measure of how consistently and accurately your authoritative content is retrieved, presented, and cited across all Memory Surfaces and AI systems. It combines both Retrieval Fidelity and retrieval share into a single concept—ensuring that your content is not only present in AI outputs but also represented exactly as intended.

Unlike Visibility Drift, which focuses on loss of retrieval frequency over time, Visibility Integrity emphasizes the stability, accuracy, and trust alignment of retrieved content across multiple retrieval contexts.

Visibility Integrity can be assessed by tracking:

  • Retrieval consistency — the percentage of test queries where your content appears in AI outputs
  • Fidelity maintenance — whether the retrieved content matches the canonical Memory Object in meaning and attribution
  • Surface coherence — alignment of retrieved content with other instances across High-Trust Surfaces
  • Trust stability — absence of Trust Drift indicators
  • Semantic consistency — reinforcement of entity relationships and context across retrievals

This metric reflects not only your ability to appear in AI answers, but also the structural and semantic quality of those appearances.
