Overview
An IdentityFragment encodes the canonical, machine-readable definition of an entity’s structural identity. Unlike narrative or persona-based fragments, IdentityFragments stabilize how AI systems classify individuals, organizations, systems, or domains across retrieval contexts.
These fragments reduce interpretive compression by explicitly declaring role hierarchy, governance positioning, domain scope, and structural affiliations. They serve as deterministic anchors in probabilistic environments.
Purpose: To provide a versioned, structured identity declaration that stabilizes AI classification, reduces ambiguity, and reinforces coherent entity mapping across surfaces.
Common Applications:
- Executive and professional identity stabilization
- Healthcare, legal, and regulatory authority positioning
- Nonprofit and governance-layer role declaration
- Institutional trust clarification
- Reclassification and entity repair workflows

Why IdentityFragments Matter
- Stabilizing: Reduces classification drift across AI systems
- Declarative: Provides deterministic role hierarchy
- Governance-Aware: Signals institutional and regulatory positioning
- Versioned: Allows identity evolution without erasing history
- Repair-Ready: Enables structured reclassification in AI-mediated environments
